In the year 2003 I started 'Foto aan Zee' (picture by the Ocean).
I chose the name because by the time we lived in a beach house facing the North Sea. Living so close to the Ocean, it naturally inspired my photography. As the light near the Ocean is different from anywhere else.
After moving more land inwards in 2006 the name had become too familiar to change.
My photo's are like trying to describe the ocean, it's ever moving ever changing.
Portraits are my main focus. Children are welcome from new borns to teenagers. And many adults ask me to take their pictures for websites, publications or to have a set of photo's on file.
Through the years I've also I enjoyed working with Interior Decorator Edith Asselbergs capturing her interiors on photo.
